How others describe you: Organized, Kind, Thoughtful
Years in the business: 4
Personal mantra: Trust the Process
Current work challenge: Finding efficiencies and minimizing growing pains
Languages: English

What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Knowing the work we do will document or effect some sort of change; whether it be reminding you to think about efficiency at work or to make great social changes in how we relate to others.

What would you be doing if you didn’t work in production?
Youth Engagement! I have worked a lot with organizations that focus on engaging young people in various different ways, and a lot of my time in these organizations has been spent teaching youth digital arts; everything from photography and video to basic animations. Even through my work now I’m able to engage with local organizations like the MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning.

Why Journeyman?
It’s fun! Working with a growing company, you get the opportunity to make an impact.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
An Architect. Design, construction and functionality has always interested me and growing up, I was a bit of a math nerd art kid (weird combination, I know). It seemed like a good fit.

How do you find rejuvenation and balance?
Being creative. I enjoy going out on weekends at midnight to take long exposure photographs at Peggy’s Cove or head to Conrad’s Beach to do some light painting. Making stuff makes me happy!
